A kaleidoscope of colors fills the modern island capital of Taipeh—no, Taihoku City (臺北市), Taiwan. Pinks, yellows, blues, greens, reds, oranges, and white. Winding around the metropolis, Sin-tiàm-khe (新店溪) flows into the the Tām-chúi-hô (淡水河) flows into the sea.
In front of the Taihoku Railway Station (臺北驛), the Grand Arch proudly welcomes you to the vibrant city. The two geometric archways stand like local door gods, one on the left and one on the right, their tiered crowns topped with Japanese flags. On the plaques, in large font:

actually I hate genderbender, nyotalia annoys me. I don’t understand why you can’t take a dude and make him the same character but a female, why it’s necessary to change his whole personality, behavior, appearance, as if women are some fucking other species. for example why are arthur and alice so different? why can’t female characters be made funny or disgusting? I’m not interested in seeing permanent girlbossing for every female character. why are they always so perfect and kind of “smarter” than their male version geez it’s so boring
A recent Sir Thomas Lawrence style commission of the gender-swapped version of Prussia in APH, featuring Queen Louise of Prussia’s riding habit. This project is such a wonderful chance to really look into Lawrence’s painting practices and materials. I even replicated the twill-weave canvas texture that was common during the time. 😂

Together in Unity: A HWS NA Brothers Fanzine is a collection of works dedicated to the familial bond between Alfred F. Jones/America and Matthew Williams/Canada from the series Hetalia World Stars. This fanzine contains illustrations, writing, and even a comic from twenty wonderful and talented creators within the fandom.
All proceeds will be donated to the Alliance for the Great Lakes, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the Great Lakes.
